In full disclosure, success ballast is being discussed for the Mercedes AMG. We feel confident the performance at Le Mans was related to setup and driver, and are taking no action at this time. However the manufacturer seems to be back on par with the performance of previous years, and the make is grabbing a lot of top fives so a balancing action may be taken just to keep the GT3 class competitive.
Performance will continue to be monitored for further changes; balance will be reviewed as well if any changes are implemented by iRacing. Driver participation in practice is vital to be sure the balance is adequate.
