MANAGING RACECRAFT AND DRIVER INFRACTIONS
New Xtreme Scoring Race Control
THE SOFTWARE
As in the past we are always looking for ways to improve our systems and improve the driver experience and as such we have recently completed our new Race Control Software, Incident Logs and Driver Infraction Points management into the Xtreme Scoring software. Please take a moment to read through this information as it is important to managing your season.
Our latest product from Xtreme Scoring is a brand new fully rebuilt Race Control System that has now been integrated in to the Xtreme Scoring Suite. This is now a Commercial product that will be introduced to the sim racing market in February 2024. After 3+ years in development this will complete all three major phases of XS the Scoring, the Paints, and now Race Control. We will continue to add more features to the software, but the major development has finally reached its goal. As always XMS Racing will be the Test series for the new system over the next couple weeks.
ON-TRACK RACECRAFT MANAGEMENT
In order for us as drivers to respect the cars and competition in sim, as we would in IRL, we have put systems in place to manage this behavior. The first is being able to provide Live Race Marshalls, for each of our events, to monitor race craft and issue penalties during the race when necessary. The second is our (DIP) System, Driver Infraction Points.
We encourage drivers to periodically monitor these tracking systems just as you would your Safety Rating on iRacing. We have posted some images below displaying where to locate these items.
INCIDENT LOGS
Can now be found in Scoring under the Schedule. Soon the current Incident log will be displayed on the website and will be announced once coding is complete.
(DIP POINTS) DRIVER INFRACTION POINTS
After clicking on the "Competitors" button on the top of the website select your series.
