MID-WEEK PRACTICE BULLETIN

NOTE: DUE TO THANKSGIVING IN THE U.S., THE THURSDAY PRACTICE WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY (AT THE USUAL TIMES). ENJOY THE HOLIDAY.

Ricmotech World Challenge arrives at Road America for Round 7 of 8. That's right, just two rounds left which means the pressure is on to maximize points and bring home strong finishes -- whether you are defending a podium spot or trying to move up in the championship points. GTP and GT3 should be okay on fuel, but LMP2 be aware you might need a splash second stop or fuel save -- plan accordingly.

We are finishing this season with two very familiar tracks. Road America is a favorite for a lot of people and all of you should be well aware of its tricky spots. As usual, please make the time to do some side-by-side and close proximity racing not just hot lapping this week. We need to be ready for side-by-side racing on the opening laps all the way to the kink...and then again when you get challenged in the braking zone into Canada Corner. Be sure you know where you need to brake for Turn 5 when you are running in someone's draft. For mixed class scenarios, let's be sure to concentrate on the Carousel and Kink...prototype drivers should not plan to make it two-wide through the kink. Either you get the job done before the kind because you are on the bumper of the GT3 by the exit of the Carousel, or you need to time it to pass to the right on the other side the Kink. Everyone please also be aware of the tricky braking zone into Canada Corner where contact frequently happens.
