MID-WEEK PRACTICE BULLETIN

Welcome to Round 6 of the Ricmotech World Challenge which takes us to historic Sebring International Raceway. Monday's race will be a 90-minute enduro so plan your fuel and pit strategy accordingly. GTP and GT3 either need to fuel save for around 2.5 to 3 gallons worth or plan on a stop for a splash (assuming no full-course-yellows). LMP2 won't have any choice but make a second stop as I think they are around 8 gallons short.

I think most of us know this track pretty well. For practice, be sure you give some study to in-class and mixed-class passing and side-by-side racing scenarios in Turns 3-5, the hairpin, approaching T13, and Turns 15-16. At 15-16 you need to figure out how close the prototypes need to be to a GT3 to fairly claim the T16 apex when the GT3 goes left to set it up -- and GT3s need to be thinking about reading the approaching prototypes correctly. Similarly, there are a variety of lines through the final turn -- and if you know you are in traffic and you choose to run wide mid-corner, you should anticipate someone may have their nose on the inside line.
