Welcome to Round 1

It is one of the most technical high-speed courses in North America spanning a distance of 3.27 miles and 20 turns to get there! Welcome to VIR raceway and to a course that demands respect. Once you get it wrong the ride through the grass usually ends with leaving a mark. Through Nascar Bend and through the Uphill Esses there is very little off the throttle but certainly a lot of on track adrenaline. It doesn't end there as out of Oak Tree corner drivers get their only moment to catch a deep breath and prepare for the Roller Coaster and the Daunting Hog Pen exit on to the front straight. Round 1 starts a season of exciting events and VIR has been chose to begin that story.
