MID-WEEK PRACTICE BULLETIN

Welcome to Round 2 of Season 12 of the Ricmotech World Challenge which brings us a 75-minute race at The Glen. Our thanks to Ricmotech.com for the continued title sponsorship of the series. Thanks also to Buttkicker for continuing to support the series with a Buttkicker system we will give away to one lucky driver at the end of the season.

It is likely all of you have a lot of time on this track. That should mean that we can use the practice sessions this week to really work on those close-racing scenarios and mixed-class racing situations. Rather than just hot-lapping, work with other drivers to practice some side-by-side entries into the bus stop. Side-by-side racing up the Esses on the opening lap is worth practicing too. You need to know what your car will do on cold tires with a car next to you climbing those curves.

Don't forget you will have to stop for fuel so be sure to figure out your fuel and tire strategy and to practice your pit entries and exits. We also encourage everyone to submit a custom paint job - doesn't have to be fancy - no later than week 3 but as soon as you can. No new paints may be submitted between 8pm on Saturday before the race and Tuesday morning. There's a lockout for that window around Monday's race for the sanity of the paint processing team.
