MID-WEEK PRACTICE BULLETIN

Welcome to Season 12 of the Ricmotech World Challenge featuring another sold-out field of cars and eight terrific rounds of competition at great tracks. Our thanks to Ricmotech.com for the continued title sponsorship of the series. Thanks also to Buttkicker for continuing to support the series with a Buttkicker system we will give away to one lucky driver at the end of the season.

Round 1 kicks the season off with a 75-minute race at Sebring! We are all well familiar with this track so the practice this week is not really for learning the track -- it is for leaning the driving characteristics each other. Take advantage of the EIGHT (!) 2-hour practice sessions this week to understand the mixed-class racing scenarios, passing opportunities, and what does not work. Remember that in practice iRacing does not display the Blue Flag when faster classes are approaching, so situational awareness is important (both for the approaching driver and the driver being passed).

Don't forget you will have to stop for fuel so be sure to figure out your fuel and tire strategy and to practice your pit entries and exits. We also encourage everyone to submit a custom paint job - doesn't have to be fancy - no later than week 3 but as soon as you can. No new paints may be submitted between 8pm on Saturday before the race and Tuesday morning. There's a lockout for that window around Monday's race for the sanity of the paint processing team.
