Welcome to Season 8, Round 5 of the Ricmotech MiniMite Sportscar Challenge!

Ricmotech MiniMite Sportscar Challenge travels to the Long Beach street circuit for Round 5 featuring dual 35-minute sprint races. The starting order for Race 1 will be set as usual by qualifying. Race 2 will be based on the finishing order from Race 1 with the top half of the LMP3 field and the top 10 in the GT4 field inverted (these numbers may be adjusted based on attendance). Please join us on Monday, at 7:00pm eastern time, we will pause practice and do some practice starts which may be especially important here.

During Sunday practice, we ask drivers to really practice doing some group racing in some of the tight sections like Turns 2-3-4 and Turn 10. And as I mentioned in the Discord channel, being patient in Turn 10 during the race is going to be very important. My advice is to leave a enough following distance going in such that if the car ahead of you makes a mistake you have time to adjust and react.
