Welcome to Season 8, Round 2 of the Ricmotech MiniMite Sportscar Challenge!

This week is Round 2 of the Ricmotech MiniMite Sportscar Challenge. Welcome to all of our new drivers joining us for Round 2. We have a fun 60-minute race at VIR on Monday. Please use Sunday's practice sessions to do more than hot lap around the track. Work together to practice side-by-side racing and be sure to evaluate mixed-class racing situations so you have a plan for when they happen during the race.

A few important reminders prior to Monday: (1) The cutoff for submitting a custom paint is NOON on Sunday. The Xtreme Scoring software will not accept new paints after that time but will start accepting them again on Tuesday after Monday's race. (2) Practice your pit entries and pit exits, along with figuring out your fuel and tire strategy. (3) On Monday, at 7:10pm eastern time, we will pause practice and do some practice starts. This is followed by the mandatory Drivers' Meeting on Discord at 7:30pm. (4) Lastly, you should program your iRacing radio with channel: RSIM for "race steward instant message" as you can use that channel (and only that channel please) to notify the Race Stewards of an incident that you think they may have missed.
