Welcome to Season 7, Round 1 - Kick Off!

Thank you for joining XMS Racing for the return of our LMP3 - GT4 series featuring a new name and a new format just for this special Season 7! This series is now branded as the Ricmotech MiniMite Sportscar Challenge. We could not be more thrilled to have Ricmotech back as the title sponsor and featuring a terrific direct-drive wheel solution that several of our series drivers use. We are also excited to see how drivers like a full season of 35-minute dual sprint races each week. Check out the Sunday Race Bulletin for more info about how those races work.

For those of you new to the series, you can expect a "Practice Bulletin" like this one every Wednesday morning before the next race. Please glance over the bulletin each week as we try to provide any special information you need to know about that particular week. It also lists the upcoming practice sessions, the in-sim time of day and weather conditions, and a link to the Apex TV broadcast that you can share with family and friends. There will be a "Race Bulletin" on Sunday morning.

A word about practice since this is Round 1 of a new season: We host 16 hours (!) of practice in total, not including the couple hours of practice open the day of the race. These practice sessions are not just for hot-lapping. Your objectives for these practices should also include: (1) getting some door-to-door, nose-to-tail practice with other drivers in your class, (2) getting to know the driving tendencies of the drivers in your class, and (3) practicing clean mixed-class racing scenarios. Don't be shy about speaking up during a practice session to ask if folks want to do a "pit party" and go out as a group. And for the mixed-class racing practice, civil conversations with each other about what passing zones work well and which ones don't is encouraged. Please also feel welcome to use the Discord server to chat amongst yourselves during practice.

IMPORTANT PAINTS REMINDER

Deadline for submission of any paint changes for broadcast is 08:00PM Eastern / 02:00AM GMT on Saturday. You may continue to submit, but any files received after that time will not be added to the paint pack until after Monday's race.
