DRIVER RATINGS EXPLAINED

• Rating starts at 25.

• Is based solely on the finishing position compared to how drivers are predicted to finish based on their rating.

• This series is set to score by Overall since we have Pro and AM drivers in the divisions, Pro and AM drivers ratings will be based by overall ratings. Basically, ratings are based on the classification defined by the series.

• Unlike iRating it is not zero sum. A driver doesn’t have to lose rating for another driver to gain.  A driver can gain or lose rating over time.

• In addition, this means there is the possibility of all drivers rating going either direction from a particular event. 

• As we continue to import historical seasons into the new scoring platform these numbers will adjust
